Kamle DA forms ‘purchasing committee’, residents donate to combat Covid-19

RAGA, Mar 30: The Kamle district administration has constituted a ‘local purchasing committee’, in coordination with the growers of local vegetables in Kumporijo circle and Laptap village, to provide local produces to the people.
The first consignment was received by DHO Tuter Dubi on Monday, and the vegetables were sold from the ‘sale points’ here.
The administration has directed all officers of the district to strictly supervise the steps to prevent any outbreak of the coronavirus in the district. A control room has been established in the DC office to provide logistic support to the officers in charge of supervising the supply of pol items, rations, etc.
The administration has also issued an order against illegal hoarding of essential commodities, selling at exorbitant rates, and black marketing. Meanwhile, Kabak Dol, the proprietor of KD Enterprise, has donated Rs 50,000 in the fight against Covid-19 in the district, and PWD SE Rotom Tebin, who hails from Dollungmukh, has also donated Rs 50,000 for the purpose.
