MECHUKA, Apr 1: Reiterating that disseminating correct information and creating awareness would play a key role in preventing Covid-19, Legislative Assembly Speaker Pasang D Sona appealed to the people to strictly follow the lockdown order and not venture out of their homes unnecessarily.
Sona, who is currently stationed here in Shi-Yomi to oversee the Covid-19 situation in the district, visited all the circles of the district, including headquarters Tato, on Wednesday and reviewed the Covid-19-related preparedness.
The speaker, accompanied by the DC, the SP and the DMO, inspected the quarantine/ isolation facilities in Monigong, Pidi and Tato. He interacted with the health workers, the supply staffers and the political interpreters, and urged them to leave no stone unturned to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
