ITANAGAR, Apr 11: The Longding District Students’ Union (LDSU) has reached out to hundreds of Wancho students stranded in Itanagar, and over 20 students at Indira Gandhi Government College in Lohit HQ Tezu, with rations provided by the Longding district administration.
LDSU assistant GS Manjing Arangham, along with a team of volunteers comprising OSD to RWD minister, Longsa Wangsa, Lakpha Pansa, Shahlai Wangsa and Aluk Lukham facilitated the distribution of rations.
The union expressed gratitude to RWD Minister Honchun Ngandam, “who led aid the service with cash and for providing his official vehicles for goods carriage around the twin capital city, Itanagar.”
It also thanked the Wancho people residing in Itanagar who provided assistance by contributing cash.
