ITANAGAR, Apr 13: Governor BD Mishra has conveyed greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Sangken festival of the Khampti and Singpho communities.
He expressed hope that the occasion would inspire all to follow the path shown by Lord Buddha.
While joining the people in offering prayers for universal peace and harmony, the governor urged the communities to observe this celebration individually at home, in view of Covid-19.
Mishra also greeted the people on the occasion of Bohag Bihu, and expressed hope that the occasion would herald peace and prosperity in the state. He extended good wishes to the people of Assam on behalf of the people of Arunachal. (Raj Bhavan)
