ITANAGAR, Apr 15: The Arunachal Pradesh Doctors’ Association (APDA) donated 400 rice bags to the Itanagar-Capital administration under its ‘Mission Sahayog’ to help the distressed section amidst the Covid-19 lockdown.
Director Health Service M Lego handed over the rice to district administration, which was received by Additional Deputy Commissioner Talom Dupak in Naharlagun on Wednesday.
Health Joint Director Dr Emi Rumi said that the APDA launched the mission considering that a lot of distressed people are facing lack of ration and other essential commodities.
The joint director informed that each distressed family would be given 5 kg of rice, 2 kg of pulses and 1 kg salt through the district administration.
