ITANAGAR, Apr 18: The Arunachal Pradesh Chemist and Druggist Association (APCDA) has urged all the pharmacies operating in the state to provide as much support to patients as possible.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, APCDA president Pawan Bagang informed that the association is taking steps to ensure that all medicines are available in the state.
“There are patients who need regular medication but have faced problems because of the lockdown. We have directed all our affiliate pharmacies to take care of all such patients and make the required medicines available to them,” Bagang said.
He said the APCDA is working in coordination with the health department, and is doing whatever is possible from its end.
He also said that there is no crisis of medicines in the state.
“People should not believe in rumours. Around 1500 pharmacies across the state are playing a critical role in this time of crisis and making all medicines available for the people,” Bagang said.
He meanwhile urged the citizens to follow the physical distancing norms, and called on the government to strictly impose the lockdown.
