ZIRO, Apr 25: The 138 Bn CRPF stationed here in Lower Subansiri district distributed facemasks, hand sanitizers and gloves to needy people of the nearby villages on Saturday, under its civic action programme.
The team, led by Inspector Rajendra Singh, also carried out sanitization drives in the villages.
Meanwhile, extending its area of disinfection drive, teams of Doimukh-based 12th Bn NDRF carried out sanitization drives in Sivsagar in Assam and Uripok in Manipur on Saturday.
A team of the battalion is deployed at the Hollongi check gate here to assist the authorities in testing and sanitization activities.
