AALO, May 30: The segregation of the rural and urban power feeders in West Siang district has been completed after an eight-month-long strenuous effort by the power department.
After the separation, it is expected that the power scenario in West Siang and adjoining districts will be improved.
Earlier, the long feeder lines passing through the rural areas resulted in line faults due to various reasons, causing disturbances in the power supply in the urban areas.
There will be a single feeder line for the rural areas.
The Aalo town had only one 11 KV feeder line and the department has added two more feeders during third and fourth phases of the lockdown. (DIPRO)
