NGO distributes masks, food at B’dewa gate

BANDERDEWA, Jun 14: Members of NGO Dream for United Arunachal (DUA) on Sunday visited the check gate here and expressed gratitude to the frontline workers for their services in the fight against Covid-19 in the state.
The team also distributed facemasks, sanitizers, gloves and food items among the frontline workers.
DUA chairman Gumjum Haider saluted the frontline workers.
“Putting their own lives at risk, the frontline workers are protecting us. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts,” he said.
The Indian Medical Association’s Arunachal chapter vice president, Dr Kesang Thongdok, who was also present, appealed to the people to follow the directives issued by the health department, the police and the administration in the larger interest of the state.
Among others, incident commander and Circle Officer Bitu Kri, Naharlagun SDPO Riki Kamsi, and officers from the police and the administration were also present.
