LWS seeks justice for dead child

DAPORIJO, 15 Mar: The Leyu Welfare Society (LWS) has condemned in the strongest terms the “killing” of a six-year-old girl child who was found dead on 1 March in Itanagar’s Mowb-I area.

“The inhuman act was really rarest in the rare case that the state has witnessed  till today,” the society said, and appealed to the law enforcing authority to immediately find out the main accused and award exemplary punishment as per the law, so that such crimes do not recur.

The LWS said it would launch a democratic movement if the government fails to secure justice for the child.

It also urged the state government to “strictly implement the law related to children and make the state a safety zone for children.”
