Tedir elected state BS&G council president

NAHARLAGUN, 16 Mar: Education Minister Taba Tedir was unanimously elected as the president of the Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Bharat Scouts and Guides (BS&G) for 2021-25 during a BS&G state council meeting held at the BS&G’s state training centre in Polo Colony here on Tuesday.

Education Secretary Niharika Rai and Secondary Education Director Marken Kadu were elected as vice president and state chief commissioner of the BS&G, respectively.

Tedir commended the service of the Scouts and Guides, and advised them to “work with scouting missionary zeal and serve selflessly to build responsible future citizens.”

During the meeting, the BS&G’s State Organizing Commissioner (Guides) Chanyan Lowang presented the annual report of the Scouts and Guides activities for the years 2018-19 and 2019-20, and the budget estimate for 2020-21.
