JOLLANG, 19 Mar: The sports club of the Don Bosco College (DBC) here is organizing the annual Late Fr Salew Thomas Memorial Volleyball Tournament from 19 March.
Bishop of Itanagar, Rt Rev Dr John Thomas, who inaugurated the tournament, exhorted the students to develop interest in both academic and non-academic activities. He also advised the students to use the facilities, including the newly constructed Late Dorjee Khandu Memorial Stadium, to sharpen their skills.
Thirty-one teams are participating in the tournament. The finals will be played on 22 March, the college informed.
