Video streaming app ‘SpaceM’ launched

ITANAGAR, 9 Apr: Space Miracle Studios Private Limited has launched a video streaming application, SpaceM – an online pay-per-movie streaming app available in four platforms (android, iOS, web and Android TV).

Launching the app here on Friday, Sports Minister Mama Natung expressed happiness over the intentions of the developers, Space Miracle Studios Private Limited, and commended “the efforts to uplift the filmmakers of the state.”

Additionally, he appealed to the gathering to cooperate with the environment & forests department in the ongoing airgun surrender abhiyan.

Space Miracle Studios Private Limited Managing Director Alison Welly urged the people of the state to download the SpaceM app and share it with their friends and families “for the future of digital Arunachal.”

Welly informed the SpaceM app “intends to encourage filmmakers and interest groups of the state to showcase their talent, and to reach out to desirable audiences and help them monetize their hard work.”

SpaceM is also scheduled to organize the ‘SpaceM Short Film Competition, 2021’ in any language and any subject with subtitles. The criterion for the short films is that they have to be 1 minute to 40 minutes long. The entry is free and submissions will be taken from 1 to 30 May.

The first, second and third place winners will be awarded prize money of Rs 50,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000, respectively, along with trophies and certificates.
