BOMDILA, 6 May: A meeting of the West Kameng District Planning Committee (DPC) was chaired by DC Karma Leki here on Thursday to discuss the preparation of the gram panchayat development plan (GPDP).
Addressing the participants, DPDO Dechin Droka informed that the timeline for uploading the GPDP to the eGramSwaraj portal is 15 May, while the DC said that the GPDP “is prepared during people’s plan campaign – sabki yojana, sabka vikas – by involving all the line departments relating to 29 subjects of panchayat listed in the 11th schedule of the constitution.”
District nodal officer Shyani Dususow made a presentation on the proposed schemes under the GPDP in respect of all the ZP blocks of West Kameng district.
The committee discussed and approved the GPDP submitted by the member secretaries, as well as the annual action plan submitted by the BDOs. (DIPRO)
