TALIHA, 18 Jun: In view of the emergence of suspected foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) in Taliha, Payeng and Jaring circles of Upper Subansiri district, the veterinary department conducted awareness programmes in various affected villages on the treatment of FMD from 13 to 17 June.
Logistic support was provided by Taliha MLA Nyato Dukam, who also provided medicines and other assistance to the medical team which comprised Dr Panam Haging and 13 veterinary staffers.
