ZIRO, 18 Sep: Lower Subansiri DC Somcha Lowang on Friday inspected a few residential schools here and directed the school authorities to ensure strict observance to Covid-19 appropriate behavior and all other relevant guidelines and standard operating procedures in the schools.
The DC, who was accompanied by DMO Dr Tage Kanno and Nada Duri from the Education department, interacted with the students and advised them to maintain physical distance in the classrooms, hostels and use hand sanitizers and masks.
The DC cautioned that the administration will be forced to shut down the hostels, if Covid SoPs are violated.
The team also took stock of the vaccination status of the teaching and non-teaching staffers and availability of isolation rooms in the schools in case of detection of positive cases. (DIPRO)
