SAGALEE, 15 Oct: The local administration here in Papum Pare district, in collaboration with the PWD, recently organized a four-day social service drive on the 64-km stretch of the Sagalee-Sakiang road.
The drive witnessed active participation of former chief minister and Sagalee MLA Nabam Tuki, Sagalee ADC Audil Toko,
PWD EE Nabam Takar, and a host of panchayat leaders, GBs, youths and others.
The drive, which involved jungle cutting, drain clearance, repairing potholes, etc, concluded on 12 October.
Tuki and others also visited the 50-bedded hospital and the GHSS in Mengio, the upper primary school in Sakiang market line, the government girls’ residential school in Pan, and the government residential school in Nyopang. (DIPRO)
