YOMCHA, 24 Dec: Members of the Young Mission Adventure Club (YMAC), led by its chairman Yomjum Yomgamgam, organized a training programme on potato cultivation here in West Siang district on Friday, in collaboration with the Karka Welfare Society.
The YMAC members distributed 200 kgs of high-yielding potato seeds, purchased from Shillong (Meghalaya)-based Central Potato Research Centre, among farmers of Yomcha and Darak “on a trial basis,” the club said. (DIPRO)
