ITANAGAR, 24 Dec: The Northeast regional centre (NERC) of the GB Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment on Friday organized an exhibition of its ‘research outcomes and success stories in the form of knowledge products such as books, research papers, posters, brochures, etc’ here.
“In addition to the knowledge products, the NERC also showcased some products related to alternate livelihood development which the institute has been promoting in its project sites through trainings and demonstrations on regular basis,” the institute informed in a release.
It said that the NERC has developed two ecotourism models, in Lower Subansiri and Changlang districts.
Among others, government officials and students visited the exhibition.
