ITANAGAR, 11 Jan: The NERIST campus in Nirjuli and KV No 2 in Chimpu have been declared as micro-containment zones, following detection of Covid cases in both the institutes.
In the NERIST, 24 positive cases of Covid have been detected, and 18 cases have been detected in KV No 2.
The areas have been contained and the inmates have been put under quarantine for a period of 14 days with immediate effect.
No unauthorized person(s) shall be allowed to enter or exit the areas without prior approval from the ICR DC, DMO or DSO.
