DCC mourns former ZPM’s death

YINGKIONG, 18 Jan: The Upper Siang District Congress Committee (DCC) has deeply mourned the death of senior Congress leader and former Yingkiong ZPM Bading Teng, who breathed his last, following a prolonged illness, in Delhi on Sunday evening.

He was 59 and is survived by two wives, four daughters and two sons.

Born in Gette village, Teng did his primary education from the primary school in Gette and completed his secondary and higher secondary education from the GHSS Yingkiong.

In a condolence message, the DCC described late Teng as a straightforward leader and one of the best social workers. “He was involved with many social, political and religious organizations and rendered his services tremendously. He had also worked for the people as ZPM of Yingkiong block as independent candidate,” it said, and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
