CHIMPU, 12 Apr: A weeklong free football coaching camp for children born between 2009 and 2012, organised by the Arunachal Pradesh Football Association (APFA), which began on 6 April, concluded at the AAPBn ground here on Tuesday.
Thirty-two children from the Itanagar Capital Region took part in the camp, during which a team of experienced and well-qualified football coaches like Tapi Apa, Rocky Ramching, Peto Taring and Tabia Sunil conducted sessions.
The coaching camp’s in-charge and state football coach Tapi Apa said, “Motto behind organising this camp was to educate young kids about the basics of football and to provide a positive platform where they could spend their summer holidays learning the game they love to play.”
