TEZU, 28 Apr: The Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) here in Lohit district celebrated the ‘joy of reading’ during a book exhibition organised by Bamboosa Library on Thursday.
Inaugurating the exhibition, KV Principal Shiv Pratap advised the students to “select a wide range of books to enrich their knowledge and awareness.” Quoting Nelson Mandela, he reminded them that “education is the most powerful weapon to change the world.”
Lohit Youth Libraries coordinator S Mundayoor guided the visitors around the exhibition, focusing on important titles and authors.
The visitors included the teachers of the KV and faculty members of the Indira Gandhi Government College.
“This is the first time in three years our students are seeing such a colourful collection,” remarked KV librarian Yogesh Vala, who coordinated the exhibition.
