SILCHAR, 21 May: Founder chairperson of voluntary blood donation organisation AYANG, Aini Taloh, was awarded the HD Shourie Memorial Award-2022 during a two-day ‘CME & workshop on voluntary blood donation & haemovigilance’ organised by the Barak Valley Voluntary Blood Donors’ Forum here in Assam on Friday.
The award is given to prominent voluntary blood donors of India.
Earlier, on Thursday, Taloh was also felicitated by the Barak Valley Voluntary Blood Donors’ Forum and
the Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Centre during a voluntary blood donation camp organised by the forum to mark its “two decades anniversary.”
Taloh also made her 35th blood donation at the camp, which was held under the aegis of the Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Centre.
