MECHUKHA, 28 May: Shi-Yomi DC Mito Dirchi reviewed the construction of the two-lane highway from Tato to Mechukha during a meeting with administrative officers, officials of the BRTF, and the contractors, here on Saturday.
During the meeting, discussions were held regarding clearing the muck from the already widened road and filling up the potholes for smooth movement of vehicles.
Identification of dumping ground(s) and “sending a proposal for additional damage compensation” were also discussed.
The BRTF OC and the contractors spoke on various issues related to the construction of the road, and the challenges faced by them.
It was also decided to carry out periodical ILP checking drives in the district. (DIPRO)
