PASIGHAT, 14 Jun: East Siang DC Tayi Taggu reviewed the performance of all government departments in implementing central and state government schemes, during a meeting of the District Level Monitoring Committee here on Tuesday.
During the meeting, which was attended by ZPC Olen Rome, ADC (HQ) Tatdo Borang, HoDs and PRI members, the DC emphasised on “problem solving through discussions, and assessing the actual extent of progress achieved in the implementation level.”
He emphasised on cooperation between the PRI members, the administration and the project executing agencies to ensure successful implementation, quality control and timely completion of all projects.
Taggu urged the HoDs to “create people-friendly approach and render services sincerely and dedicatedly.” He further advised the works departments to “come up with viable projects in such meetings for better outcome and effective implementation at ground level,” adding that monitoring at the subdivision and the circle levels are also essential.
The ZPC urged the HoDs to “facilitate active participation of the PRI members who are more aware and well-versed with the ground situation, so as to make the project implementation more successful.”
The HoDs enumerated the details of the schemes taken up by their departments. (DIPRO)
