PALIN, 15 Jun: Tali assembly constituency MLA Jikke Tako on Tuesday, appealed to the youths to work for unity, peace and development of the society.
He said this while addressing the karyakartas of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Kra Daadi district unit here at the general ground to mark eight years of Narendra Modi-led BJP government in the centre and six years of Pema Khandu-led government in the state.
“Youths have a greater responsibility to play in all spheres of life. They are the future of the nation,” he said. Tako urged the youths to act responsibly and join hands with the state government in the effort to improve governance in the state. He also said that the youth of the district should make efforts to take Kra Daadi to a new height in the area of development.
A bike rally was also organized from Palin to Tali Circle via Yangte and back covering a distance of around 160 km to mark the occasion.
Kra Daadi district BJP president Nguri Kiokam, district BJP incharge Dera Techi, ZPMs, GPCs, GPMs, karyakartas of various frontal wings of the BJP and others were present on the occasion.
