DAPORIJO, 15 Jun: Transport & civil aviation minister Nakap Nalo urged the public of Upper Subansiri district not to panic at the ongoing construction work of boundary wall around the airfield ‘as some unscrupulous people are trying to make unnecessary issue out of it.’
He said that not an inch of the airfield land will be encroached. He said the land management and civil aviation departments are closely supervising the airfield project.
The minister said this during ‘seva sushasan gareeb kalyan sammelan,’ organized by the Upper Subansiri district BJP unit here at Singhik hall on Wednesday, to mark the completion of eight years of Modi government.
The minister also highlighted the various achievements made by Modi-led government during its 8 years journey in centre and 6 years achievements of Pema Khandu government in state.
MLA Taniya Soki also spoke and highlighted the achievements of the governments at centre and state.
Over 200 BJP workers and beneficiaries of various government schemes attended the sammelan.
Various awareness programmes on government schemes and achievements of both central and state governments are being organized in different areas of the district since last week on the completion of eight years of Modi-led government.
