CHIMPU, 16 Jun: Four semifinal matches were played on the 10th day of the Capital Complex Dree Festival Celebrations-2022 Football Tournament at the Bn ground here on Thursday.
In the open category, the first match was won by Hello FC after defeating Manchester United by 2-0 goals. The goals were scored by Bamin Tadu and Hage Takang. The latter was declared the man of the match.
In the second match, Haaki Ajing FC won against Yapung Yaper FC by 4-0 goals. Landi Millo and Tailyang Talley scored a brace each. Nada Tago was adjudged the man of the match.
In the veteran category, the first match was won by Ball Tulla Z against Paatw B by 4-1 goals. Hage Lalyang and Michi Tako scored braces, while the solitary goal for Paatw B was scored by Nani Tade. Millo Nama of Paatw B was adjudged the man of the match.
The second match in the same category was played between Hogya FC and Paatii A, and the former defeated the latter by 3-1 goals. Bamin Tadu, Nani Loder and Tailyang Tabyo scored for Hogya FC. The man of the match, Tanyang Uttung, scored one for Paatii A.
The final matches of the tournament will be played between Hello FC and Haaki Ajing FC in the open category and between Hogya FC and Ball Tulla Z in the veteran category on 18 June.
