PASIGHAT, 22 Jun: State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI) here in East Siang district conducted two days training on oil palm development at the institute on 21 and 22 June.
Course coordinator Sengo Dini highlighted the scope of oil palm cultivation in the state. He advised the participants to disseminate the knowledge learned from the training to the farming community of their respective district.
GTC instructor MN Bori was the main resource person.
Twenty extension functionaries from seven districts which have potential for oil palm growing participated in the training.
