Siang DLMC reviews progress of schemes implementation

BOLENG, 6 Jul: The Siang district level monitoring committee (DLMC)  has reviewed the status of physical and financial  progress of all central and state governments’ sponsored schemes, PM’s and CM’s flagship progremmes,  implemented by various departments in the district.

During the two-day 1st quarter meeting of the DLMC at the DC’s conference hall, which ended on Wednesday, the DC-cum-DLMC chairman Atul Tayeng emphasized on timely implementation of the projects.

The projects that fall under the department of health, education and ICDS were encouraged to achieve their target by March 2023.

DC directed the officers of various departments to come up with a roadmap in order to achieve the target successfully within this year itself. He further stressed on the importance of field inspection and monitoring of the projects  with active participation of  ZPC, ZPMs and other PRI members in order to make project implementation more successful.

The DC further urged the HoDs to prepare and submit updated and timely status report of the all CSS and state sponsored schemes/projects and flagship programmes. (DIPRO)
