BASAR, 7 Jul: Leparada DC Mamata Riba reviewed the progress of works under the centrally-sponsored schemes and the state government-sponsored schemes being implemented in the district, during a series of meetings she convened here on Thursday.
During one of the meetings, the DPDO highlighted “the obstacles that are encountered during the execution of schemes.”
The DC advised the engineering wing to “use its engineering skills and potential to create permanent assets for the betterment of the citizens.” She emphasised on preparing detailed project reports, “taking into consideration its long-run impact.”
She further said, “Nothing is impossible if you are determined to create assets with extra effort. Wherever there is any shortfall of funding, we must use locally available resources.” (DIPRO)
