ZIRO, 8 Jul: Following the arrest and interrogation of three persons under the NDPS Act recently, the police here in Lower Subansiri district arrested three more persons, identified as Koj Omo (37), Koj Tayang alias Moti (29), and Pura Riku alias Jhon (25) on Friday.
“All three above cited persons were arrested for their alleged involvement in connection with Ziro police station Case No 12/2022 u/s 21 (b)/25/27 NDPS Act,” DSP (HQ) Tasi Darang informed in a release.
1.29 gram of suspected heroin in a plastic vial, three used 1 mm insulin syringes and 20 empty plastic vials were seized from the possession of Koj Tayang and Pura Riku.
The police team that made the arrests was led by Inspector Millo Lalyang.
“Further investigation is going on,” the DSP said.
