AALO, 18 Aug: The West Siang district administration has issued a notice asking the residents of Aalo township to not operate any type of drones within the “no drone zone, 3 kms from the centre of the perimeter of the advanced landing ground (ALG)” here without prior permission.
The order comes in the wake of a letter from the ALG detachment commander, urging the district administration to declare the no drone zone as per the Drone Rules, 2021.
“The operation of any type of drone within 3 kms from the perimeter of the ALG/airbase will require explicit permission from the controlling agencies under the Drone Rules,” the notice read. (DIPRO)
