ITANAGAR, 18 Sep: The Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM) on Saturday signed ‘non-financial’ memorandums of understanding (MoU) with various companies and organisations for promoting placement of trained youths of Arunachal Pradesh under the DDUGKY projects.
The MoUs were signed by ArSRLM CEO Kego Jillen and the authorised signatories of the companies concerned in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The companies will provide a minimum of Rs 10,000 CTCs to 3,000 unemployed youths, and facilitate ArSRLM in tapping employment opportunities for the DDUKY trained youths of Arunachal, so that they can get entry level jobs in these companies/organisations.
Speaking on the occasion, Jillen thanked the Ernst & Young LLP – the technical support agency for the ArSRLM under the DDUGKY – and officials of the DDUGKY and the Ar SRLM for facilitating signing of the MoUs.
Besides logistic support and healthy working environment, he emphasised on providing safety measures, especially for the girls.
