TMWS mourns demise of its president Tsering Phuntso

TUTING, 28 Dec:  The members of Tuting Memba Welfare Society (TMWS) deeply mourned the sudden demise of the Society’s president Tsering Phuntso in a road accident on 25 December near Mosing village here in Upper Siang district.

Phuntso was 53 year-old and is survived by his wife, three sons and a daughter.

He was serving as block education officer in the education department at the time of his death. Phuntso also served in various social organizations, like Arunachal Indigenous Tribal Forum, Cheme Yangsang Pemakod Welfare Society and World Pemakod Welfare Society in various capacities and rendered valuable services to the people of Tuting sub-division.

“He was a visionary leader of Memba community and his contribution towards all round development in the areas will always be remembered,” the TMWS said in a condolence message.

“We have lost a renowned social worker, perfect gentlemen, visionary community leader, who dedicated his life for the welfare of people of the Tuting sub-division,” the condolence said and described his death a great loss for the people of Tuting.

The society prayed to almighty for eternal peace of the departed soul and to bestow strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
