AALO, 9 Feb: Members of SHGs, along with HoDs and other stakeholders participated in a ‘mega credit camp’ organised here in West Siang by the district mission management unit of the Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM) on Wednesday.
During the camp, Deputy Commissioner Penga Tato advised the SHGs’ members to “register in social security scheme,” and urged the SHGs to “use the loan sanction amount judiciously in livelihoods and economic activities.”
While Rs 9,778,475 loan amount (facilitated by the block mission management unit or BMMU) was sanctioned to 92 SHGs of Aalo West, Rs 6,634,475 was sanctioned to 68 SHGs by the APRB; Rs 2,071,000 was sanctioned to 20 SHGs by the Apex Bank; and Rs 1,073,00 was sanctioned to four SHGs by the SBI.
The Aalo West BMMU has ‘facilitated’ 121 SHGs, covering 1,080 households, and formed 19 primary level federations and one model cluster level federation of women’s SHGs.
SBI Aalo Branch Chief Manager Manoj Kumar, ArSRLM District Mission Manager Jarbom Taipodia, Aalo West Block Mission Manager Onyang Pali, and DTC (FI) Dugam Ete also attended the camp. (DIPRO)
