A ‘mass anti-rabies vaccination drive’ for pet animals is being carried out jointly by the ICR district administration, the animal husbandry & veterinary department, the Itanagar Municipal Corporation, and NGOs Arunachal Dog and Cat Rescue, and Just be Friendly from Guwahati. Approximately 240 dogs have been vaccinated since 21 May. (DIPRO)
