DAPORIJO, 23 Jun: More than 500 saplings were planted during a ‘mass plantation programme’ organised at the Donyi Jaaring festival ground here in Upper Subansiri district on Sunday by the Black and White Organisation (BWO).
Besides BWO members and the divisional forest officer, many senior citizens and members of the public participated in the programme, which was organised in collaboration with the district forest department.
