ITANAGAR, 27 Aug: The education department on Tuesday said that introduction of science stream in Donyi Polo Government College (DPGC) in Kamki, West Siang district, is under consideration, and that the file in this regard has already been “initiated.”
However, science stream will only be started on sanctioning or creation of the required posts of both teaching and non-teaching staffs, the department said in a release.

All DCs have extended cooperation by submitting land availability certificates. The education department has received 28 identified locations, including five locations from West Siang from DCs and all the physical documents so received were handed over to RGU authority for further course of action. Since, RGU is a central government institution, the matter is with RGU authority to take a call on it,” the release said.
