SANGRAM, 27 Aug: The Kurung Kumey Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), represented by horticulture expert Taru Dumi and agroforestry expert Chukhu Yamin, conducted a joint training programme for the producers’ group here, in collaboration with the Sangram block mission management unit and the Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission.
More than 50 farmers participated in the training, which focused on innovative farming practices, with Dumi conducting a session on the use of seedling trays for raising a nursery in cole crops.
The participants learned about the benefits and optimal use of seedling trays, soil media, and irrigation techniques for healthy seedling productionfrom the two.
