DAHUNG, 21 Mar: The two-day 13th Tsona Gontse Rinpoche Memorial (TGRM) lecture series concluded at the Central Institute of Himalayan Culture Studies (CIHCS) here in West Kameng district on Friday.

The annual lecture series is held to honour the founder of the CIHCS, the late 13th Tsona Gontse Rinpoche.

The lecture series is part of the institute’s academic and co-curricular initiatives, aimed at fostering intellectual discourse and raising awareness on contemporary developments in Buddhism in the South East Himalayan region.

The event provided valuable insights to the faculty members and students. Lectures were conducted in three languages – Bhoti, Hindi, and English – by six distinguished scholars from across the country.

Each session comprised a one-hour lecture, followed by a 30-minute interactive question-and-answer segment, allowing the attendees to engage with the speakers.
