I would like to draw the attention of the chief minister towards the untold pain and emotion of state government employees. There are hundreds of state government employees who had to take lower ranked jobs due to financial problems or to take care of their families.
Whenever we see the declaration of APPSCCE final result, we become very emotional. It is not that we are not competent to work as higher ranked officials. Due to unavoidable compulsion, we have to stay away from the APPSCCE.
After so many years of service, we cannot compete with fresh minds.
But we in-service employees deserve a second chance to get into higher ranked positions. There is also provision for this, ie, the common departmental exam. This provision has been made to boost the morale of in-service government employees.
We are not asking for 50-100 posts. A few Groups A and B posts are enough.
Hope that our people-friendly chief minister and entire Cabinet ministers will look into this and do the needful without further delay, because it is the demand, wish and appeal of hundreds of state government employees.
