SAGALEE, 6 Mar: The Branch MSME-Development & Facilitation Office (Br MSME-DFO), Itanagar, in association with Niumhi Foundation, organised an entrepreneurship awareness programme in Kheel here in Papum Pare district on Friday.

The programme aimed to create awareness among local youths about entrepreneurship opportunities, and to motivate them to start their own enterprises.

Addressing the participants, Br MSME-DFO professional Aman Makkar highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship as a tool for self-employment and economic growth. He also briefed the participants on the support provided by the MSME ministry to aspiring entrepreneurs.

Br MSME-DFO Assistant Director Satish Kumar spoke about various MSME schemes and activities being implemented by the Government of India. He elaborated the role of MSMEs in the country’s economic development, and encouraged the youths to take advantage of different schemes and support mechanisms available for setting up and expanding enterprises.

Br MSME-DFO Assistant Director Vijay Sehrawat conducted a session on entrepreneurship development, business idea generation, and MSME support mechanisms. He motivated the participants to identify local resources and opportunities and convert innovative ideas into sustainable business ventures. He also guided them on the initial steps involved in starting an enterprise.

Niumhi Foundation chairman Hinium Takung spoke on the importance of financial literacy and banking awareness. He explained the significance of financial planning, responsible borrowing, and the role of banking institutions in supporting entrepreneurs through various financial products and credit facilities.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation of local youths and aspiring entrepreneurs of Sagalee and nearby areas, who actively interacted with the speakers and expressed interest in exploring entrepreneurship as a viable career option.
