KHONSA, 24 Mar: The Khonsa Battalion of the Assam Rifles (AR) provided a public announcement (PA) system to the residents of Lazu village in Tirap district for dissemination of important information, weather and fire alerts, and other emergencyannouncements.
The villagers lauded the AR for providing the system and its selfless services like timely aid during fire incidents, lifesaving medical camps, and inspiring Agniveer registration drives. (DIPRO)
