ITANAGAR, May 15: The official team constituted by the Lohit district administration and led by East Zone Deputy Controller of Legal Metrology, Minte Siga, booked three traders in Tezu market on Friday for selling packaged commodities without the mandatory information as required under Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011.
In Tirap district, a legal metrology team led by Inspector Tarh Sonu booked six traders in Khonsa market during a surprise inspection.
Three traders were booked for selling packaged items without the mandatory information, while the other three were found using non-standard weights and measures.
