LIKABALI, 15 Oct: Lower Siang DC Marto Riba handed over 15 cartons of hand sanitizers to the government higher secondary school (GHSS) here recently. The district administration (DA) also handed over sanitizers to DDSE Tage Kakki, to be distributed to all 66 government schools in the district.
Likabali GHSS Principal Mimar Nyori apprised the DC of the problems faced by the school, such as unavailability of a science laboratory and equipment, and shortage of desks and benches.
The DC expressed concern over the deteriorating condition of the school’s infrastructure and said he would inform the higher authority about it.
With regard to desks and benches, he asked the principal to “place the indent.”
The DC also asked the school authority to ensure strict implementation of Covid-appropriate behaviour in the school.
