ROING, Jan 25: The Lower Dibang Valley (LDV) district administration has decided to formulate a comprehensive policy to regulate the flow of traffic and tourists in the district.
This decision was taken in an emergency meeting here on Thursday, which was necessitated following the huge number of tourist inflow and the increasing number of road accidents in Mayudia.
The Mayudia road accident on 24 January, in which seven persons from Assam lost their lives, was also discussed in the meeting.
The district administration has pressed men and machinery into action in order to retrieve the bodies, but inclement whether has hampered the rescue operation, which is being monitored by Desali CO Hage Atho. (DIPRO)
