NAMSAI, Jan 29: The Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB) organized a ‘labour awareness camp’ here on Monday.
Registration Officer Rohit Jamoh urged the gathering to encourage unregistered labourers to get their names registered and avail the benefits provided by the board, such as soft loan, insurance protection, etc.
EAC (Hq) R Karlo distributed 300 LED TV sets, along with blankets, to the registered labourers. She lauded the board for organizing camps that help the labourers get acquainted with benefits and welfare schemes.
Among others, bazaar secretary CP Longkan attended the programme.
