ROING, Mar 12: A daylong workshop was held here by the AMYAA, IIT and district administration to drive interest and activity in entrepreneurial development in Roing, especially in the field of eco-tourism, agriculture and education amongst young people and educators.
The workshop was facilitated by leading thinkers on innovation and business incubation processes, Dr Charu Monga (Design & Entrepreneurship), Dr Harsh Chaturvedi (Energy) and Ashutosh Muglikar (Company Secretary)
The experts emphasized on opportunities of entrepreneurship and provided inputs on developing entrepreneurial competencies.
Participants at the workshop gained knowledge on different models of small business incubators and discussions focused on how those models could be adopted to Roing.
Furthermore, participants deliberated on the most effective approach to support youth entrepreneurship in different sectors, including tourism, agri-business, and art and culture industries.
Lower Dibang Valley Deputy Commissioner M Namchoom said that the workshop would essentially build the capacity for realistic job opportunities for artistic creative expressions that can naturally be fostered, marketed and rewarded, not just in the local context but internationally as well.
